The 2026 annual conference of the National Association of Extension Program and Staff Development Professionals (NAEPSDP) will be held at the Embassy Suites, Omaha at Downtown Old Market, Omaha, NE, November 3-6, 2026. Our conference theme is "Centering on our Strengths", with each day intentionally designed to build on that focus.
- Tuesday, Preconference – Strengthening Our Workplace - An interactive Gallup-led workshop exploring engagement, wellbeing, and sustaining mission-driven workforces in Extension and higher education.
- Wednesday, Day 1 – Centering on Our Strengths - Using Gallup StrengthsFinder to ground us in our individual and collective strengths.
- Thursday, Day 2 – Sharing Our Strengths - Learning from one another through peer-led breakout sessions that highlight expertise within our membership.
- Friday, Day 3 – Sustaining Our Strengths - Focusing on personal wellness and self-care so we can continue to show up strong in our work.
HOW TO REGISTER:
Conference registration will be open through October 12, 11:59 pm.

NAEPSDP welcomes both members and nonmembers to attend our annual conference. An option has been added for guests to join us for specific meal functions.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFO:
- Members must log into your member account on the Association website to receive the member rates. To qualify for the member rate your dues must have been paid prior to June 30, 2026.
- If you are a member registering a non-member, do not log into the NAEPSDP website before going to the registration page to register the non-member. Make sure you enter the attendee's email address during the registration process.
- The registration options available to you depend on your NAEPSDP membership status and the date you register. Only the option available to you will be displayed.
- Please have credit card information available when you begin the registration process. You have 15 minutes to complete the registration form and enter payment information.
REGISTRATION WINDOWS:
Registrations will not be accepted after October 12, 2026. No on-site registrations will be accepted.
- Early Bird registration available through August 15, 2026.
- Regular registration available from August 16-September 30, 2026.
- Late registration available from October 1-12, 2026.
PAYMENT:
All payments are due at the time of registration by credit card only. After making your payment, you will receive a confirmation payment receipt by e-mail. Your conference registration will not be complete until Wild Apricot Payments/AffiniPay officially accepts your payment. You have 15 minutes to complete your registration and enter payment information.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION RATES:
PRECONFERENCE SESSION – Tuesday, November 3rd 1:00-4:30 -- $150 (minimum of 30 registrants for session to be held)
Led by Gallup leaders, this interactive workshop will explore workplace trends, engagement, wellbeing, and sustaining mission-driven workforces in Extension and higher education. Drawing on Gallup’s State of the Global Workplace research and current insights on burnout, retention, and organizational culture, participants will engage in collaborative activities, reflection, and facilitated discussions to apply these ideas within their own Extension and university settings. A separate item is available in the registration form for the pre-conference and the additional $150 fee will be collected with conference registration. This training will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel (conference site).

2027 membership dues not paid with conference registration are due January 1, 2027. Regular and affiliate membership $75, student membership $25.
LODGING:
Individuals are responsible for making their own lodging arrangements as these are not booked during the conference registration process or included in the conference registration fee. Rooms can be reserved at the conference hotel: Embassy Suites, Omaha Downtown Old Market, 555 S. 10th Street, Omaha, NE 68102 at this hotel block link. Room rates for single or double occupancy are $122 (plus applicable taxes) per night. Reservations must be made by October 12th to receive the conference rate.
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and checkout time is 12:00 p.m. Guests arriving before check in time will be accommodated as rooms become available.
Room reservations that are not cancelled at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the arrival date will be charged one night’s room and tax. The NAEPSDP group rate will be available three days prior and three days after the conference, based on room type availability.
CONFERENCE CANCELLATION POLICY:
Refunds, less a $50 fee, will be granted for cancellations received in writing via email prior to 11:59 PM EST September 30, 2025. Registrants cancelling between October 1 and 11:59 PM EST October 13 will receive a 75% refund of registration fees. No refunds will be made after October 12. E-mail cancellation requests to Lisa Kaslon, Conference Chair at lkaslon@unl.edu . All refunds will be processed after the conference.
TRANSPORTATION:
Eppley Airfield/Omaha Airport is served by most major airlines, including American, Delta, and Southwest and United. The airport is located approximately 5 miles from the hotel and an easy ride share or taxi.
Transportation options from airport to hotel are taxi, Uber, or Lift. There is no hotel shuttle. Cost of transportation is $10-15 one way.
Hotel self-parking has been negotiated for our group for $10/day. Valet parking is available at the regular hotel rate.
