The 2026 annual conference of the National Association of Extension Program and Staff Development Professionals (NAEPSDP) will be held at the Embassy Suites, Omaha at Downtown Old Market, Omaha, NE, November 3-6, 2026. Our conference theme is "Centering on our Strengths", with each day intentionally designed to build on that focus.
Tuesday, Preconference – Strengthening Our Workplace - Led by Gallup leaders, this interactive workshop will explore workplace trends, engagement, wellbeing, and sustaining mission-driven workforces in Extension and higher education. Drawing on Gallup’s State of the Global Workplace research and current insights on burnout, retention, and organizational culture, participants will engage in collaborative activities, reflection, and facilitated discussions to apply these ideas within their own Extension and university settings. The pre-conference will be held Tuesday, November 3, 1:00-4:30 p.m. and the fee is $150. There is a separate registration item in the form to choose when registering for the pre-conference.
Wednesday, Day 1 – Centering on Our Strengths - Using Gallup StrengthsFinder to ground us in our individual and collective strengths.
Thursday, Day 2 – Sharing Our Strengths - Learning from one another through peer-led breakout sessions that highlight expertise within our membership.
Friday, Day 3 – Sustaining Our Strengths - Focusing on personal wellness and self-care so we can continue to show up strong in our work.
| 2026 NAEPSDP Call for Proposals Submissions Due July 12, 2026 The 2026 NAEPSDP Conference Submissions Committee invites proposals for the 2026 NAEPSDP Annual Conference. We encourage sessions that share research, innovative practices, practical applications, and ideas that support Extension program and staff development. Topics connected to this year’s theme,Centering On Our Strengths, are encouraged, but all relevant submissions will be considered.
